Spain is the top investor in U.S. Renewable Energy

Nearly 100 Spanish businessmen share with other Americans the new business opportunities that are open to the new model of sustainable development by betting both Spain and USA

Spain has much influence in U.S. renewable and influence

In doing this it has come to engage with employers in California and Texas to share with U.S. knowledge on renewable energies (wind and solar), new railway infrastructure (high speed and subway) as well as water management (desalination and water treatment).

Each of the subjects were treated with high-level business Spanish panorama. The Obama plan offers a great opportunity to invest in the American West Coast, and many SMEs are involved in it.

Iberdrola Renovables is already in Colorado, becoming one of the major investors in the U.S., generating nearly a quarter of which is produced in the country.

Texas is a state that is oriented to this new type of energy, and where large companies have invested Spanish (BBVA, Repsol, or PROINLO).

It all takes place in "Plan Made in / by Spain, designed by the Spanish Ministry of Industry and executed by ICEX, which includes more than 150 actions in the next two years.

Spain is the third largest producer in the world in installed wind energy and is the first investor in the U.S. This type of energy (after Germany and the USA)
